Erica3 January 2026I travelled to NI from London with my kids and grandkids to celebrate my 60th birthday with family in Ireland over New Year. Toni's beautiful house was the perfect place to comfortably house all 9 of us and we even hired her lodge next door so some of my siblings could be nearby. The house is very old and has that wonderful old charm with some huge rooms which are all very tastefully decorated.Toni was probably one of the best hosts I have ever encountered on Airbnb. So friendly and accommodation and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience possible.Location of property is ideal for exploring the Moune mountains and County Down coastal area.I would not hesitate to come back and rent Toni's place again.Load more

Ben26 August 2026The accomodation was absolutely as we expected. The beds were comfortable and the house was nice and cosy. There were all the modern convieniences you could want: good wifi, dishwasher (with tablets supplied), washing machine, microwave, oven, hob, air-fryer, big internet enabled TV. Parking rightoutside the front door was offroad and safe.We had a great time. We walked to the Big Stone from the house which took about 3 hour round trip, with two children looking at everythign along the way.We would recommned to anyone wishing to spend a few nights in Rostrevor!Posted on Airbnb

Barry10 May 2026We had a fantastic weekend stay here with our two kids (ages 2 and 5). The lodge was cosy, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Toni was an amazing host and went above and beyond, even leaving a lovely welcome pack for us on arrival.There’s a beautiful little garden on the grounds that was perfect for the kids, and a park just a 4-minute walk away with a playground and a fairy trail, which they absolutely loved. Sophie16 April 2026Toni was an amazing host, attentive and very easy to speak to; went above to make our stay the best, even brought our son over a toy truck to play with during his stay. Beautiful accommodation and in the perfect location, within walking distance of Kilbrony park, local cafes and restaurants. Our son loved the enclosed play park and exploring the climbing frames and tractor. Couldn't recommend Hillside Lodge enough, we would love to go back.Posted on Airbnb
